The counter shaft carries the load through every gear in the I-Shift box — and it is one of the components where a correct, matched rebuild matters most. Our workshops carry the complete OEM-quality counter shaft assembly, including the constant mesh, third, second, first and range gears with their matched bearings, ready for immediate fitment or supplied as a complete repair kit. Note that the bearing arrangement at both ends was revised by the factory — we supply both the earlier and the current pattern, so it is worth confirming which version your box has before ordering.
Each counter shaft we supply is sourced from our trusted European suppliers (Euroricambi, FAG, Fersa, INA, SKF and Timken) — the same OEM-tier brands that supply Volvo directly. We can also rebuild your existing counter shaft assembly using ISO 9001 approved replacement parts that are of the highest quality, which is time saving and cost effective without compromising on reliability and durability.
